That’s kind of creepy! Those wind chimes freaked me right the fuck out, and the stalking cats, and the evil birds…
I can’t wait for the sequel :)
What happened to the video?! Didn’t Youtube approve? :(
It’s working for me. There’s nothing to not approve of..lol
Hmmm…when I first tried to look at it I was getting a message that the movie was no longer available. But now I can see it!
Kaya,
You reminded me of a Dennis Leery bit. “I was building this bird feeder, see. Then it occured to me. I HATE birds. I LOVE my cat. So I built the feeder *this* high.” (hands held six inches apart).
Seriously, your cats looked like they were trying to decide if the birds were worth braving the snow. My cats would have been split on the idea.
I used to live in Sue St, Marie, so I know what lake effect snow is about. Of course, I lived there when I was 8, and bliards were a GOOD thing (snow days!). Just imagine how SAD you’d be if there were no internet.
Dave
Sit on the toilet and flush, sit on the toilet and flush. :D
You want me to film that? :P
Nah, it’s a quote from Dana Carvey, who I continually confuse with Dennis Leery. (Don’t ask…)
It’s from this DVD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joZnuVb9l5o
Lulz. Did you hear the thunder last night? It was so beautiful out! Snows, and sleetz, and litenin’s
I dont think we had thunder here. If we did, I slept through it all. We had lots of wind, but that’s all.
I am soooo jealous. We don’t even really have seasons here. I live on the south west coast of Florida and all we have is sun, sun and more sun. Even though I can’t experience the blizzard first hand, I am so glad you are sharing it with me.
Hope you have a good weekend, sounds like a popcorn and movie kindof time.
junebug
We too have seasons! There’s one day of ‘winter’(which translates to below 80 degrees)
Yeah but.. least we don’t melt in the summer. ;)
I’m just getting, “We’re sorry, this video is no longer available” :(
I must say I do not envy you! But it does indeed give you a good excuse for movies, popcorn … and cocoa!!! :)
Well thats just odd. I dunno why you can’t see it.
Not that you are missing anything. LOL. It is really lame!
I see it. You might enjoy this video from Alison Bechdel’s blog:

Hee! We are so amused with our cats..lol
teh SNOW! U has it!
http://icanhascheezburger.com/2007/01/31/i-has-snow/
(Note, I was told by my 22 y/o niece yesterday that lolcat-speak is “sooooo 2007″.
Omg, I’m dated! ;)
I see your kittehs know where the heat comes on in your house. :)
omg! I LOVE THAT PICTURE! I’m seriously giggling myself silly over here!
So have you slipped up and talked lol-speak to like a waitress or on the phone to someone who has NO idea what you’re saying? lol… *so* embarrassing!
The Boss keeps telling me that if I don’t stop talking like that, he’s not going to let me go to the cheezeburger site anymore.
*cries*
So I sneak it.I’ll be in the other room talking to a kid and I’ll say something lolz and he’ll holler at me “What did you just say!?” Heh. “Nothing, dear.” :D
Hehe, great movie! Make more, make more!
That’s one of my favorite LOLCats too! My Man and I *both* are into LOLcatz so yeah, it gets pretty bad. We know it’s silly but there is just so much crap going on in our lives right now that looking at these pictures online every morning at icanhazcheezburger and other sites is just a breath of fresh air for us.
And get this; we haven’t slipped up on lol-speak in front of anyone (and LOL at you talking to the kidz like that) BUT! We created a word of our own, “raow”, from one of our cats who complained by meowing. A lot. About everything. So it became a term for anytime we were disappointed about something but not srsly so. You know, I’d say, “let’s go out for dinner!” And Dan would say, “no we can’t afford it” and I’d say, “raow”. (r as in r and aow as in “ow”).
Or he’d say, “Hey, is there any more of that Chinese food left?” I’d say, no and he’d say “RAOW!” (Yes, we like food, it’s why we’re FAT! ahahaha)
So he was in a meeting with the CEO and the CFO and other department heads and someone said something about whatever (I don’t really know what his company does, honestly, something techy that brings in a paycheck) and he said in protest, “Raow!”
There was dead silence. And several confused looks.
And he wanted to just drop through the floor. He couldn’t *believe* he’d done that. AHAHAHAHAHA! I wish I had that on video, I do. *laughs*
Bwahahahaha!
Im not bored here of course its 85 degrees today. nener nener
lol @ nener nener.
You suck. :D
In Tucson AZ
Thanks for the video. That’s my idea of how to deal with snow, watch it on YouTube, or occasionally visit it so I can remember what it is like and why I hate it.
btw, I swear by all I hold holy you’d be wearing those damn wind chimes. I don’t know why those tones are so annoying but wind chime noise grates.
Love the cat views, that was way cool. They are fascinating animals. Love the old quote “Dogs have masters, cats have staff”.
I love my windchimes. Before we moved, I had about 6 of them strung across one side of the carport. But I only did that to try and annoy the piss out of our neighbors (they were the kind of neighbors you hear about on talk shows. Obstinate and irritating for the sake of obstinance and irritation).
I only have this one left. :(
I live in Eaton Rapids, Michigan and we have no snow *sad face* the rain came and took it all away last night *pout* can I borrow some of yours, pwease?
You can have all of it.
Hehehehehe….you are too bored.
And fyi, I hate, hate, hate wind chimes. I’ve never understood their purpose – who the fuck wants noise when the wind blows?
sorry.. it’s 3 am and i can’t sleep.. so here ya go.. :)
The history of wind chimes dates back to prehistoric times in many cultures; however, their greatest and most elegant
development was in east and south Asia, from Bali to Tibet and Japan. Buddhists attached thousands of elegantly
decorated, cast, or carved wind chimes and wind bells to the eaves of sacred religious structures to create an almost
deafening sound in the wind.
Historically, wind chimes have been used by many cultures, especially Asian cultures, to welcome good and friendly spirits and to scare evil spirits away. The chimes often were hung on every corner of a home to keep the home safe from evil. The compilation of the gentle tones would create an atmosphere in which only good spirits would feel welcomed. A home with several wind chimes was sure to be a safe haven from any pursuing evil.
Wind chimes can have a healing effect on the mind and body. The resonance and vibration of the sound is thought to
release stress and emotional blockages in the body and calm the mind, thereby expanding conscious awareness and
connection with spirit. The positive sounds of wind chimes are thought to promote relaxation and reduce anger and
tension. It is thought that wind chimes help enhance the mind/body/spirit connection bringing us a sense of peace and
well being. It is believed that wind chimes can help bring balance and harmony to your garden and home; and they are
often used in Feng Shui.
Yeah, what enchanted said! It’s feng shui!
wow.. if this isn’t a D/s moment.. i don’t know WHAT is.. <a href=”http://icanhascheezburger.com/2009/02/27/funny-pictures-

Heh. I thought the same thing when I saw that one. Substitute Master for that white cat and thats my life!
Awww! i has SAD too! We has 8 feet of snow out front :( i lovelovelovelove your movie!
Ugh. 8 feet SUCKS!
Am I hearing things or do I detect the sound of a dog drinking water in the background?
di
lol. Yep, that’s what you hear. He was right behind me.
Yup, thought so. We have three dogs and we call one of them, “the mop”. She drinks lots of water, then walks away from the bowl without shutting her mouth….EWWWWWWW. Nothing worse than walking across the kitchen floor in socks only to find out the mop has struck again!
OMG! That looks cold… and windy. It reminds me of where I grew up in Northern Minnesota. Nothing around but snow, wind, and cold. Yak! Course in the summer it was hot and the mosquitoes were unbelievable, so that wasn’t much better. I hope you get nicer weather soon!! Also, you have my deepest admiration for making that cute video. The “bird channel” is an inspired concept, and you are very creative! Thanks for posting this! :) Cat p.s. Lolcatz are the best things EVER!!!
*chuckles* Hehe I don’t envy you we don’t get snow where I live actually I haz teh sunburn instead. After watching that I decided you are more nutz than me :D x
*reminds self not to go on a blog reading spree when I am too tired to check if I put my bloody name in* doh
