I know I said I wasn’t amused with the Michael Jackson jokes.

But.

This cracked me up.

I bet someone somewhere made a joke on the day my Grandma died.

    • Amber says:

Kaya, your illiterate anonymous commenters just crack me up. :D

Hate to point this out, “anonymous” but every single day is someone’s funeral somewhere in the world.

      Oops…I meant, someone’s “funeraly”.

Oh gawd how these people crack me up. Come here to criticize and can’t spell half the words you criticize with? And on the day of (insert someone here)’s funeral(y)? The nerve!

  9. belle says:

There is nothing funny about Hitler.. when you live in Holland, and your grandparents were killed because of him…..

But i guess that is what happens when a famous person dies…

    • Amber says:

Oh for crying out loud, lighten up. Hitler has long been a subject for everyone to mock and the video was funny; all that Hitler sturm und drang about MJ. It was funny to me.

If it’s not funny to you, move on elsewhere. Lots of stuff isn’t funny to me either but other stuff is. If I take offense at something that was meant harmlessly, I just shrug and move on. Big damn deal.

Take the video in the spirit it was meant; which is light-hearted fun and NOT meant as a serious commentary on WWII and the millions of people that died all over the world because of that war.

      • Dioneo says:

There is nothing light-hearted about Hitler. Suggesting that there can be is about as insensitive as can be imagined.

Most of my family was murdered in Treblinka. First the adults where crowded into the gas chamber, then the kids where thrown in. The guards tried to bounce them off the ceiling. Then the slow process of gassing started (no Zyklon B in Treblinka. It was Carbon Monoxide from two captured Russian tanks).

After most were dead, they dragged the bodies out to the pits and burned them. Any survivors where shot and then burned.

        Fucking hilarious, you’re right.

        • kaya says:

Tasteless jokes are just one of the many unpleasant things you’re going to see here. Seriously, move on and don’t come back if you find it so offensive. I’m not even going to apologize for finding this funny. It was freakin’ hilarious and that, in no way whatsoever, belittles what happened during Hitler’s time. FFS. Get a grip and stop with the melodramatic bullshit.

        • Amber says:

Oh for christ’s sake, for one thing, the core of the joke wasn’t about HITLER, it was about MICHAEL JACKSON!

Even if it was about Hitler, how many professional comedians have joked about Hitler over the years? Only about a bazillion of them and most of them are/were Jewish with equally awful stories of how their families or family friends were murdered in Germany by Hitler.

In fact, the entire plot of “The Producers” made in the 50′s revolved around a musical play two JEWISH guys (Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder) produced that was about…wait for it.

HITLER! The play inside the film was called “Springtime for Hitler” and it was just hysterical. The whole movie is hysterical, one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Oh and it was directed by Mel Brooks, also Jewish. Somehow they were able to mock and find humor in Hitler despite that.

Recently it was made into a hit Broadway play, too and
people STILL find it funny. Even though it’s about Hitler.

          Get over yourself.

          • Dioneo says:

There’s a difference between a tasteless video, which Kaya is obviously free to post and anyone who doesn’t find funny (including me) is free to ignore, and Amber’s denigration of someone’s pain (not mine–belle’s, whom you do seem to have managed to chase away).

If you cannot see the difference between The Producer’s use of Hitler (which took him in full context) and this video, then you can expect to raise hackles when you invoke him. Getting self-righteous and whining about “can’t you take a joke” doesn’t make you right.

          • Amber says:

Well, I have to reply here since there is no reply under Dioneo’s reply below this but I just wanted to say to Belle and Dioneo that I’m really sorry I was being so horribly insensitive and I hope they can both forgive me.

After all, I had family die in a Nazi concentration camp too…

Grandpa fell out of a guard tower!

  11. Karen says:

This is actually a great movie. It’s called “Downfall,” and is about Hitler’s last days. This particular scene has been used in several other parodies; people just do their own subtitles for whatever he’s supposed to be upset about.
I hope English is not the native tongue of “Anonymous.”

  12. zari says:

Damnit I wanna be shitting rainbows!

  13. His smashley says:

Wow, kaya…you certainly get colorful comments on here. Well, i don’t think you’re WHIT trash. LOL. However, i know some WHIT trash and let me assure you…they would laugh at that video too haha. Oy, some people…

  14. Isis says:

    I think, it was funny.
And I loved the movie “Der Untergang – Downfall” and it pretty scared me as well.

To see this scene with these subtitles was new to me. I hear the original dialogue and read this subtitle and it’s all so completely different – and funny.

And yes, I’m german and still ashamed of what my grandparents and their generatoin did, but I didn’t participate in these crimes, so I don’t feel guilty, although some people still think we germans should still feel guilty.

But this is another discussion, and we don’t have to discuss about this right here.

    Funny vid, kaya!!!
