Hmmm….this is just an educational guess, but me thinks that people treat their partners differently than their own children because it’s illegal to do some stuff to your own children (like I don’t know…have sex with them) and a child wouldn’t understand the concepts of bdsm like an adult would.

Perhaps he was just trying to make a point and didn’t think it through. Replace “children” with “strangers” and I could see where he might be coming from. Not necessarily (good lord thank god for spell check, my brain is mush) making a comparison between how one would actually treat their partner and their children…but more having to do with the crappy ways that people can begin to treat their partners…(those not so yummy/happy crappy ways). IF that was his point though…I doubt he gave any thought to how…abstract the point was in context to where he was posting it. After all…we could debate all day about what’s yummy/happy crappy and not yummy/happy crappy for another.

And now…I get back to studying Bleh…

lol i read all of that thread and couldnt believe what i was reading and had to laugh at the OP who on her very own profile states she is open minded, but she isnt (doesnt really suprise me) and then this stupid Ravean orwhateverhernameis who supposedly has been around a time or two, who again is nothing like what her profile states…if anything it was good for a laugh.

I’ll take your ten bucks (~grinning from ear to ear~). We are in a Daddy / little girl relationship and Sir definitely, should I say DEFINITELY does not treat our daughter the same way he treats me. If he did – we would need to be calling the cops.

(I am not yellin’ at you with the caps, just wanted to emphasize the point)
