Kaya, I think you need to adjust the original settings in your feed. I seem to remember that when I created a feed for my blog, it asked whether I wanted the feed to include the entire post or just an excerpt. You might want to look at those settings. I can completely sympathize with your feelings re. the extended business trip. My BF travels a lot for work, and what starts as a day trip sometimes turns into a trip that lasts a week or more (fortunately, he rarely leaves with just his briefcase, because the last time he did that he had to make an emergency detour out of the country for 6 days). It sucks to get so excited anticipating his return only to find out that he's going to be gone a while longer. I have a few blogs that look at way, too.
