Master is most likely not going to be home until sometime next week.
Normally I try to swallow the disappointment but not this time. It sucks and I’m sad.
I’m going to go clean the hell out of something and wallow in self-pity while I scrub.

this one too understands the disappointment, the anxiety and the sadness of being separted because of trips when my Sir has to be away.
i try to keep focused on the “homecoming”.
and besides, He always comes home to a spotless house.:)
Oh I’m spring cleaning like a madwoman. I’m getting to all of those little projects that I never take the time to do when Master is home because I can’t be out of his presence long enough to do them. :D
Quick technical question:
When i view your blog in Google Reader, it automatically shortens the blog entry, and ends with [...]. However, the [...] is not a link, and i am unable to expand your blog in the reader. Was this done intentionally?

No, it wasn’t intentional on my end, at least not that I’m aware of. If it is a setting somewhere I’d gladly change it if someone could tell me how.
There are blogs in my google reader that do the same thing to me and I have no idea why.
I have a few blogs that look at way, too. Kaya, I think you need to adjust the original settings in your feed. I seem to remember that when I created a feed for my blog, it asked whether I wanted the feed to include the entire post or just an excerpt. You might want to look at those settings.
I can completely sympathize with your feelings re. the extended business trip. My BF travels a lot for work, and what starts as a day trip sometimes turns into a trip that lasts a week or more (fortunately, he rarely leaves with just his briefcase, because the last time he did that he had to make an emergency detour out of the country for 6 days). It sucks to get so excited anticipating his return only to find out that he’s going to be gone a while longer.
Kaya, you have my sympathy, my Mel used to have to go to medical conferences, and it sucks.
