Even though a lengthy power outage after our first snow storm almost caused me to miss all of it, it’s still today and I’m here, dammit.
Today is LOL-Day. The day we gently try and cajole all of the lurkers to speak up and say hi. Don’t be shy. I won’t bite you. This time. ;-)
Do you know what this blog would be without you readers? It’d be a diary. A silent, dusty, forgotten-about diary stuck in some dresser drawer, one that I’d be hard-pressed to find any interest in writing in. Writing has little satisfaction without someone to read the words. This is my chance to thank you all for doing me the honor of reading what I write.
My gratitude goes out to everyone, the ones who make their presence known and the ones who only leave quiet little footprints on my stat counter. So if you’re up for it- stand up and say hello. Tell me where you’re from. Tell me why you come here. Tell me… everything. :)

Anywhoo, I hail from TN, though when I started reading you I lived in MN. I met my now fiance on a BDSM site. He and I both got into the lifestyle for various reason, but after about a year of living together both decided that it wasn’t for us anymore.
Still, I like reading your blog. Even though we don’t “live the lifestyle” anymore, I still get a bit twitchy (in a very good way) when I read your blog and the things your Master and you do together.
That’s interesting- that you met because of BDSM and then found it wasn’t for you. So- in your relationship now did you keep any of the bdsm leftovers? Any kink or any tendency to fall back into old habits?

From NSW Australia if you’re interested in geography, and while the reason I found you was for the kink the reason I check in every day is for the writing, the dry humour, the picture of you and Scott and the kids as a family and the way you combine that with some rather heavy kink (and I love that the posts about lack of kink are usually followed a few days later by some sex and/ or pain of varying degrees. It gives me hope when life and work and family get in the way).
And I love your cooking/ domestic posts as well. You cover a lot of my interests in a very engaging way
