ummmm, YES your daughter looks bigger than the mother of my twin grand baby boys! she must have twins tucked in there SOMEwhere! LOL
i was totally unsure of why my son and this girl made a baby, of course it didnt feel like the ‘right’ time (it probably never does?). six weeks of hanging out in NICU’s explaining over and over again that there was no father and trying to decide if i should call her my daughter in law, etc. we used to get so frustrated! like she was the only girl to show up having a baby without a father present? RIGHT!
the most important part is, the baby is here (or coming) and we get to be the grannies and all the other people with ‘opinions’ on un -wed whatevers can go take a hike while WE get to cuddle the most precious new citizens of the world!
congrats, there really doesnt seem anything like becoming a granny

The picture of the yard is absolutely beautiful and your daughter’s tummy is certainly getting very big. When is she due again?

I would’ve shot a very dark look towards the aunt that made that comment or I would’ve said very sweety (with steel beneath my voice) “Well, there’s no one stopping you from visiting him either”

Probably killing her. I imagine now is about the time the litany of “Why did I think this was a good idea” starts chorusing through her head, but it will not roll off her tongue until shes balls deep in back labor. Just watch. ;)

Miracle Gro is the devil (IMO), especially for things you want to eat. Would you eat the Miracle Gro?

Personally, I think good compost is the way to go. If you can’t be troubled to mess with it, it’s very easy (and generally relatively cheap) to buy. Then your food isn’t created full of chemicals.

OBVIOUSLY, ymmv and this is just my opinion. :)

To the OP – check out Square Foot Gardening, which is very very helpful for the beginner. You don’t necessarily need to apply everything the way they do, but the techniques and knowledge are good to understand.
