I’m kind of jealous you can just go blueberry picking like that. I adore blueberries, but they don’t grow well here. I’m going huckleberry picking in a couple weeks though…so I guess that makes up for it.

I’ll also add my vote for Splenda for cooking. I haven’t bought regular sugar in I don’t know how long.

Hey.. does babygirl still need wipes? I have this recipe for home made wipes because I know you are all about the saving of the money!

1 1/2 cups water
2 tbs baby shampoo
1 tbs baby oil
no name papertowel (cheap generic sound)

Take the roll of paper towel and cut in half.
Put half of the paper towel in a deep container with a lid. (We use old tobacco containers that have been donated)

mix the water, baby oil and baby shampoo together and pour over the paper towel. If the paper towel still seems dry in a few minutes feel free to add water until it takes on a wipe consistency.

there you have the wipes! nice and cheap! (Walmart has paper towel that is 95cents for 2 rolls :D)

I think there’s just something about the past two weeks that has made everyone carb binge; I can’t remember the last time I ate fresh fruit or veg. I think I need to fix that. There should be a farmer’s market on Sunday, right?

We will never stop reading you. We adore you. We are kaya-groupies. Really. And I like the idea of blueberries in salad. I'm going to try that. And blueberries and vanilla yogurt are good together. I am so loving the way you described you and BabyGirl picking blueberries and her little face and hands all purple/blue and going NUM NUM NUM as she toddled. Our little one goes “num num num” too when she’s eating. Adorable.

She LOVES corn on the cob! She’ll sit there in her high chair and gnaw on it forever, lol. Making “num nom yum” sounds. So cute! The cob is huge and her hands are so little.

We have pics of her captioned “I HAZ A KORM!” :D
