Help!
Master is in the air and His boss just sent me His flight itinerary. I won’t be able to talk to Master at all before I pick Him up at the airport.
Please.. please.. help me figure out these times? Is it adjusted for our time here? Is it all on Australian time?
It took Him 26 hours to get there, I assume it’s going to be about the same coming back. I don’t even know what day He’s landing here!

From what deidre knows from her own travels, times listed with flight info are always local times. Can you go to the United website and look up the flight number for the last leg of his flight from LA to Chicago? That one will give you local time for sure, as well as keep you updated about the status of the final leg of His flight – or each leg individually if you wish. There is a program on this mac, a widget actually, that you can enter in a flight number on and actually watch the path of the plane. It’s all an animation of course, but it includes all kinds of neat information. Good lucky honey.

Itineraries are adjusted to local time. I think he will arrive at 650PM Central time on Friday =) (hooray for that!)

LOL BP is good with flight times and dates and stuff like that. I think its partly to do with the fact that he spends so much time in the air on his flight sim, but also because he’s flown a fair bit.
Either way she didn’t hit MSN, but he’s got the answer, just bashing out a reply to her now.

I just wanted to say right quick that there are so many warm people here and I enjoy Kaya’s journal so, so much. Master has stated twice to me that he would *like* me to have my own site where he can read, and if nothing else, peruse His pictures…(oh how that FREAKS me out, to have pictures that anyone can see…and I thought I was such a raging slut until I found YOU, kaya, and I mean that in the BEST possible way!!!)

ANYWAY, interacting in this journal for the past few days has made me feel part of a nice little neighborhood, (kinky? Oh my YES, but NICE), and because I am not a part of the local BDSM group here in town, it feels GOOD. So needless to say, once I discuss it with Master, I will be getting a computer QUICKLY, and hope to get to know you all better.
Until then, I will continue snatching glimpses of your journal, (and now Keth’s…I was just there), here at the office, racing back and forth between my cubicle and the printer here at work, minimizing my screen at the slightest sound of footsteps, and looking like a good little do-bee (never a DON’T bee!).

joining LJ is really easy, and there’s so many really great people here – and yes, i would love to see a journal written by you too! hurry up and get that puter! Make sure when you do start up your journal that you friend people – if you get stuck, yell, and i’ll try to help. but friending basically means that their journal, if its public or keyed to you, gets put on your friends list and it makes it really easy to keep up with everyone. LJ is quite complex but has lots of possibilities for tailoring, so i’m sure you’ll have lots of fun!
just be careful at work, please sweetie.. don’t get fired!!!

p.s. don’t worry, its not the longest comment.. I don’t know how long the longest comment is but i *have* written a very long comment a few times on different journals that um, have popped up a rather rude “you are over the word limit” from LJ (*blows raspberry at LJ for word limits*) and i’ve had to split my comment down into two, sometimes three sections. So please, don’t worry about that!!!
considering he has to cross the IDL[1] on an eastbound vector .. the moment he crosses the IDL you have to substract 24 hours (ie .. going a day back)

yup apart from the fact that flightnumbers on fixed routes are always the same. which makes it a bit more difficult :)
Absolutely darling. Local times listed for each flight. Look up the last flight home on the United website. He will call you to confirm somewhere down the line I am sure. He will arrive in the states before He left. It matters not if you understand it, only that He is coming home! YAY!

Agreeing with everyone else…..the itinerary reflects the time zone the flights arrive in….meaning he arriving in LA at 12:55 pacific time. He then arrives in Chicago at 4:59 Chicago time (central right?) and then arrives at XXXX at 6:50 the time zone you are in.
The time on the flight information is correct. I flew to Panama City and it kept saying I was arriving 15 minutes before I left I was so confused but it gives the local time. He will be home at 6:50pm. ENJOY!!!!!!!

lots of great advice.. don’t count on Him calling you though.. airports can be busy places with not much time to dash from one end of a terminal to another …….. best bet is either call the Airlines and feed them the flight number etc and ask for updates or go to their website and check.. i personally prefer the websites as i can check umpteen times without feeling like i am bothering anyone..
have a great re-union kaya.. store up every precious moment with Him.. oh yeah and expect major jet lag.. unless He is super human!!!

Im an Aussie, its currently 7.33am local time where I am on the west coast, you Master is on the east coast local time there is 9.33 am. His flight is due to leave Australia at 11.05am, so he an hour and a half to go before he leaves Oz yet. Id say hes duty free shopping at the internationak airport and getting ready to go through customs etc.
I support all everyone else has said, Id be there to pick him up at 6.50pm! Double check by watching his final flight on the United website, that way youll also know if its late / or even early.

Wanna do something really cool
When My Master has to go away on buisness and is in route home I got to the website of the airliner there is a button that says where is the flight. You enter the fight number and you go to a sattelite and all the planes in the air are black but the one your looking for is red anyhow, You can watch him all the way in. I left when I saw it start to desend and was just pulling up when he was coming out to call me. I showed him and he cracked up that I had been watching it like a TV all day.
