1. Can you cook? Yes. Rather well if I do say so myself!
2. What was your dream growing up? To pole dance my way through law school. What? You’re surprised?
3. What talent do you wish you had? Painting. Portraits, animals and landscapes, mostly. I suppose I could learn if I had the money for classes.
4. Favorite place? Anywhere with water. On top of a waterfall, by a lake or river, swimming in the ocean… I’m a waterbug.
5. Favorite vegetable? Snow or sugar snap peas. I like them both the same.
6. What was the last book you read? The last book I finished was “Temple of the Winds” by Terry Goodkind. I’m currently reading its sequel “Soul of Fire” and “Story of O”
7. What zodiac sign are you? Aries. Isn’t it obvious? lol
8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? I have a tattoo done in Indian ink on my left hand. It’s a heart with a cross behind it and my ex’s name. I was tied to a chair while too innebriated to fight back and given the tat against my will. It will be covered or removed asap. As for piercings, my tongue once and my ears twice.
9. Worst Habit? Biting my nails.
10. Do we know each other outside of blogging? I guess that depends on what you consider “know each other”. We talk outside of blogs.
11. What is your favorite sport? Basball/softball.
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude? Really depends on the day and what’s going on. I lean more toward optimistic but occasionally I can get pretty negative.
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Probably stare at you out the corner of my eye wondering if you are who I think you are but never actually say anything aside from “Man this sucks.”
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? My whole relationship with my ex.
15. Tell me one weird fact about you: I make strange, almost birdlike noises in my sleep.
16. Do you have any pets? Three birds, seven fish and four corals. Know anyone looking for a fish tank?
17. Do you know how to do the macarena? Vaguely. It’s been a while.
18. What time is it where you are now? 11:03am
19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? Depends on the clown. Circus clowns are adorable. The one in IT is just damn freaky. Course… Tim Curry’s always damn freaky.
20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
21. Would you be my partner in crime or my conscience? A little of both, probably. I’m famous for saying “Ew… that’s bad. This is why. We should do it!”
22. What color eyes do you have? They vary. They’re usually a light, pretty blue with dark navy rings around the outside. But occasionally they’re stormy gray or indigo depending on my mood and what I’m wearing.
23. Ever been arrested? Yep. For domestic violence, of all things. My ex, who at the time weighed about 275lbs while I only weighed ~150, told the police I threw him across the kitchen after the neighbors had him arrested for hitting me.
24. Favorite fictional character of all time? Does Lisa Rowe (Girl Interrupted) count even though she’s based on a real person? If not, I guess I’ll have to go with Kahlan Amnell in the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind (see question 6). Throughout the series, even though she often doesn’t see Richard Rahl’s logic and completely disagrees with him, she still stands by her man. Waits out the situation and allows him to make his mistakes. I respect that.
25. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? Pay off our bills.
26. If you could have one superpower, what would it be? There was a kid on Heroes who could “talk” to machines. He used his power a time or two to get money for him and his family. I totally want that power.
27. What’s your favorite hangout? When I was a kid it was a toss up between the skating rink and the bowling alley. Now? Our house.
28. Do you believe in ghosts? Yes.
29. Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Walk. Doesn’t really matter where or if I have a destination.

When Sir intentionally waits for me to get settled / comfy / whatever, and then he wants something or wants me to do something. The other night, time for bed, he talks me into ice cream, so I get up and get both of us some, get back in bed ready to watch the tube, all comfy, and he says “are you going to hang your coat in the closet?” I reply “I’m gonna wear it in the morning, is it ok on the back of the chair for now?” (in the dining room no where close to the bedroom and I’m already naked) He says “you know how I feel about clutter, go put it away.” Now my ice cream is melting, I’m cold and I’m pissed. I just wanna act like a little kid, jump up and down, and scream “why do you always get to be the boss!!!!”

OK, I found a weird fact I’d posted on my blog for one of these get-to-know-you things:
I have this weird habit of being able to look randomly at a clock and it will be exactly 9:11, day or night. I started doing this only after that terrible day of Sept. 11, 2001.
1. Can you cook? Yup! I cook pretty good stuff for Master & the kids…mostly “american” style food i.e. meatloaf, pork roast, casseroles, pork chops. I’m not fancy-dancy.
2. What was your dream growing up? To drive a semi. Srsly. I wanted to either teach kindergarten or drive a Peterbilt. I have no idea why.
3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could sing. Well. I sing now but it’s only in the car alone.
4. Favorite place? Besides between Masters legs, I loved Italy. Lol. My brother brought me out for my birthday and it was just gorgeous. Loved all the history and architecture. And the gondoliers.
5. Favorite vegetable? Corn. Then beets. mmmmm…beets with butter and salt are nummers.
6. What was the last book you read? The last of that goddamned Twilight series. Only because Masters oldest begged me to. For reals.
7. What zodiac sign are you ? Aries…but I am so nothing LIKE an Aries that I totally don’t believe in horoscopes at ALL. I’m more of a pisces.
8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Yes, tats on arms, and pierced in my lip, tongue, and ears. I do not wear the lip & tongue piercings as the Boss hates facial jewelry.
9. Worst Habit? Trying to think for Master. I’m really trying to correct this trait but it’s hard.
10. Do we know each other outside of blogging? No.
11. What is your favorite sport? Motorsports. Preferably drag racing!
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude? Optimist. So much so I tend to bug the shit out of my friends. But it makes me a helpful and cherished friend, too!
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? I would want to compare survival skills when being fucked in the ass. I hate it, and you seem like a champ about it. So I’d want to commiserate with you!
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? The death of my mom. She was one of my soulmates, my best buddy. Hurts like hell even almost 4 years later.
15. Tell me one weird fact about you: I was afraid of dust bunnies when I was little. Like, panic attack refuse to go in a room with one, scared. Now my house is full of them lol.
16. Do you have any pets? Yes, my pekingese dog, Abby. She’s like my child, but in the hierarchy of our house she’s still one up on me. Go figure.
17. Do you know how to do the macarena? God NO. It’s the official office party dance and I HATE it, lol.
18. What time is it where you are now? Exactly 11:00 a.m.
19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? Both.
20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? I would shave the bump off my nose. I really dislike my nose a LOT.

23. Ever been arrested? Yes. I cried like a bitch when they handcuffed me. It was for an unpaid traffic ticket and I felt like a felon in the back of the police car. It was terrible.

1. Can you cook? Yup. I bake better than I can cook, but I love cooking, too. I get off on ‘healthifying’ recipes.
2. What was your dream growing up? I never really settled on a career choice. I wanted to ‘be a mommy.’

6. What was the last book you read? The last one I finished? I reread “Guilty Pleasures” by Laurell K. Hamilton. I’m in the midst of “Wuthering Heights,” “Alone with the Horrors” and “Ready to Learn.”
7. What zodiac sign are you ? Taurus. It’s quite fitting, too.
8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? I have two tongue piercings, four holes in each lobe, and one in my left cartilege. I had my nipples pierced, but took them out when pregnancy made my boobs itchy. I’d love to get my lip pierced in the center, and an industrial piercing in my ear. I have five tats: I got an aqua-colored heart on my right ankle at age 12. I added a custom flower-band around that ankle at 14. I got a psychadelic toad on a stool on my left calf at age 16. At age 20, I got a tattoo that is three crescent moons together on my left forearm (meaning ‘mind, body, spirit). Daddy and I have that same tattoo in the same place. At 24, I got the kanji symbol for slave tattooed on the back of my neck.
9. Worst Habit? I smoke a lot. I swear a lot. Depends on who you ask which of those is worse.
10. Do we know each other outside of blogging? *Sad face* No.
11. What is your favorite sport? NFL Football. I’m a huge, life-long NY Giants fan.
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude? I’m pretty cynical, but I think overall I’m pretty optimistic. I try to be, anyway,
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Probably talk about our kids and our slavery
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? I believe everything happens for a reason, and I wouldn’t be who I am if not for the events in my life. That said, I think my birth experience was the worst, but I am stronger now because of it.

16. Do you have any pets? Currently six cats and two ferrets. We’ve had as many as 15 ferrets at once. I feed and TNR feral cats, too. I’ve had loads of critters throughout my lifetime.

18. What time is it where you are now? 1:01pm. Time to wake Master up to pick kidlet up from school.
19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? I think they’re kind of dumb. But they remind me of my great-grandma, who collected them.

That book series by Stephen King is the only one of his that I just could not get into. I tried and I can’t get through the first book. I normally adore his work – I don’t know what it is about that series!
In the newer books, his forward flat out says, “This is the worst book of the series, please try to push through it and make it to the next one.” He’s not kidding. The second book is much, much better. And Roland? You can’t help falling in love with him through the series!

Yep…when I actually have time. With my crazy school schedule and being sick—without knowing what’s wrong—I haven’t really felt up to cooking much. Although I did make bitchin pasta the other day for lunch…

To be a veterinarian, live on a farm, and own a bunch of horses. Now, not so much. One horse would be okay…but I don’t think I’d live on a farm. (Acreage is okay…just not the animals unless they’re dogs and cats LOL)

The ability to understand complicated math. Hell yes, I consider that to be a talent! (FYI: algebra is complicated for me. I can do it, but not without great frustration. I is a history major LOL. This is why.)

More often than not at the moment it’s negative because I’m pretty much in constant pain. I have my days (like this morning) where I’m happy and I feel like I could do anything. But it’s so easy for me to start feeling down on my situation and myself. Usually though, I’m very optimistic.

Uhm…ravish you? LOL noo…I could never make the first move. Le sigh haha. Naw…just talk to you and probably panic because I’m a tad bit claustrophobic.
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you?
Losing my grandparents during my childhood without really knowing them at all. Two of them were my dad’s parents and his family was very cold and unexpressive so we didn’t communicate often. The other one was my mom’s mom…she had Alzheimer’s and by the time I was old enough to get to know her, she was so far gone, she didn’t recognize anyone or know her own name. On the day she died, my mom and I were actually in town because she’d gotten sick over Easter break so we went to visit her and my grandpa. When we were leaving the hospital room to go run some errands, she looked me—straight in the eye—and I swear in that moment, seeing intelligence flash to life…she knew exactly who I was and was saying goodbye. I cry every time I think of that.

I can touch my tongue to the bottom of my chin. Daddy and His friends say I have a lesbian tongue LOL. I frown at them and stick my tongue out which always makes them laugh harder. Le sigh.

Yes, but they currently reside at my parents’ casa. 3 dogs and 2 cats. (Yumi-a Chow/Wolf mix, Sprinkles-the cutest mutt you’ve ever seen, and Ladybug-a cocker spaniel-are the dogs, and Hissy and Sylvester are the cats.)
I had a Japanese Chin named Mo-Mo but she died a year ago in April. Sad story…scarred me for life, kinda. And didn’t help because I have a fear of death…which is exacerbated by my OCD.

1. Can you cook?
Yes, and I adore it. I’ve been cooking since I was 17 years old. I started cooking so I could get laid more often (that is, it meant my mom could stay later at the office and work, if she knew dinner would be ready when she got home, so I’d prep dinner, have wild monkey sex with my boyfriend of the time, and when mom and dad came home, I’d be calmly stirring the stew or sitting with said boyfriend doing homework together at the kitchen table while the casserole bubbled in the oven!

I had many! I was a child of much imagination, and as little reality as possible!

1. Can you cook?
I can prepare meals, but I wouldn’t call it “cooking”. I think if I tried I would be able to cook, but it seems like such a bother with no one to cook for.
2. What was your dream growing up?
In grade 7 (1989/90) when asked to imagine my life in the year 2000 I conjured up myself living in NYC working in fashion design, living in a huge loft with my 3 BFFs. By 2001 I was a hairstylist living in NYC, haven’t spoken to the BFFs since 8th grade graduation, though.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
Being very organized. A distant second would be proficiency at playing the guitar.

With someone I love or someplace comfortable by myself.
