Complete Idiot
I got a package in the mail yesterday. It was just the sweetest thing.
Check it out-
How perfect is that for me right now?? I’m stoked. I’m going to read them cover to cover.
As for this part here?
You know what they say– “If the shoe fits….”
Thanks Doc. It’s much appreciated. I’d tell you what The Boss said I should do to show my appreciation but it makes me blush. ;-)
On that topic, good news! I don’t know if it was the switch to aerobics, staying off the scale for a few days, divine intervention, or if Karma reads my blog, but THE SCALE MOVED!
I’m a’feered to say by how much in case it was a fluke **FIVE FREAKING POUNDS** or the scale was broken so we’ll just not mention the number **FIVE FREAKING POUNDS** and leave it at saying it was **FIVE FREAKING POUNDS** lighter than the last time I stepped on it.
*beams*
AND! Yesterday, Master sent me off to buy new workout clothes because mine kept sliding down during the aerobics class. All that hopping and dancing around and I’d be holding up my pants with one hand and reaching into them with the other to pull up my underwear cuz they’d be somewhere just below the cheek area. AND! Not only did I get new stuff, it’s not even XL. Nope. Just L. The bottoms anyway. I still went XL on the shirts cuz I hate tight-fitting shirts.
Totally stoked. Like, flying high kinda stoked. Do you know how long I’ve only talked about this and not DONE it? I’m chuffed.
Anyway. This won’t turn into a diet blog, I promise.
Maybe.
Also, if any of you are on my Babygirl flickr, I finally updated with new pictures and I added a little clip of her playing with the cats. It’s too cute. And if anyone wants on the flickr, just shoot me an email with your flickr name and let me know who you are. :)
Good days. Golly.
I got laid too. I mean, damn. Someone slap a gold star on the calendar.

Hey congratulations! That’s fanfreakintabulous!!!
I always know when I need to lose weight by how my clothes fit. I don’t ever get on a scale anymore…when my pants get tight, I cut back the desserts and up the exercise. But maybe that’s just me.

I don’t think I ever got the flickr feed! Email it to me!
I had my own ‘hot damn skinny’ moment last night. I went out shopping for new jeans ’cause the ones I stole from my sis a couple of months ago were starting to get too baggy (they mostly fit when I got em, only a tiny bit big). I grabbed 8′s figuring ‘real’ jeans would be a bit tight around my muffin top. I ended up buying 6′s. I swear I swooned. LMAO
Congratulations!!! Great job, and keep up the good work!
I know that this is not what most people recommend, but I have a diet tip from a different perspective. I have struggled with my weight for 20+ years, and started working on this in December. I have lost 28 pounds, and my big rule for this time (and forever) is to not give up anything. When I rule out particular things, whether because of calories, or fat or whatever, I set myself up to fail. I want to eat less in general. Eventually, I want to be in a maintenance phase instead of loss phase, and then what do I do? When I cut things out during the diet, I tend to binge on them later. So for me, I don’t cut things out anymore, I just reduce them.
Sorry for the ramble. I wish you the best of luck.
That is super…
I loved that downward slide… size 16 deemed “baggy” by Master… buying some 14′s … DAYAMN they fit … then a couple months later passing by the teen section and seeing some 13′s on sale… why not… tight but secksay! Master’s hands all over my ass. Now a year and a half later those 13s are still a fav but they are a bit loose and the 11′s are the ones that catch Master’s eye.
Every time someone brings in a big thing of donuts or homemade yummies to work I just smile and say… “I will watch you guys enjoy them.” Because I refuse to backtrack. I THREW OUT ALL THE BIG PANTS AND I AM NOT BUYING ANY MORE.
I did that and fucked it all up – I’m back on the bandwagon of losing 20 so I can get back into my 10′s – I hate hate hate the 14/16 pudge
*nods* have to say.. happiness is walking (or dancing around in aerobics class!)and having your underwear falling off your ass!
Wow, and congrats! That is so wonderful…lotsa hard work goin’ on there, m’dear! Fifteen pounds is applause worthy! *clap*clap*clap*!!!

Kaya, you’re so sweeet! Congratulations. How much was it, you said?
Glad to hear the scale is dropping.
Pretty soon you will be needing to get all new clothes and they will be M or even smaller.
Keep the faith girl, you are worth it and you can do it
I need to email you, I got through the bins and have some things for babygirl
*wanders off to see new pics of baby girl*
Why won’t you just tell us how much weight it is?
You know as well as we do that stuff inside double-asterisks is sekrit.
Mean.

You should get the book, The Fast Track Detox by Ann Louise Gittleman. Love your blog!
i saw the flickr video OMG that is just too cute, I’d say OMFG but it’s a video of a baby and I can’t do that. the books are awesome! and the scale moved~!
I need to hear you kick me in the pants…I’ve gained back some weight and I’m pissed about it.
This made me think of you and your daughter and how sad it is that in 2010 homosexuality is still an issue:

That is absolutely wonderful, congratulations! I have been struggling with a lifestyle change myself. I did everything right, and lost 0 weight the first week. You can imagine how inspiring that was, but I’m going to keep pushing.
Besides, YOUR success really is motivating. :) Keep up the good work, we’re all here for ya.
On a note nothing to do with this post, I noticed that except on the kinky craft page, there aren’t any pictures of the syringe suckers in use… Just had some made for me thanks to your kinky craft page, and so though I’d return the favor and remind you (and more importantly someone else) of their existence…
Way to go! Don’t forget that awesome OMG the scale moved in the right direction feeling. Hugs.
Congratulations! Isn’t it motivating?
I’ve lost 10.6 pounds in the last three weeks. I’m finding it’s simple, but not easy (I hope everyone understands that distinction). I’m o a very calorie-reduced diet of 1200 a day, I do weight training every third day, and the other two days I go on the exercise bike for 45 minutes to get cardio. That’s it.
I’m finding that the diet part is probably what’s helping me the most. It was tough, especially in the beginning, but I’m getting used to it. I also keep a food diary. Wow, that makes you pay attention to every little “sneak”!
Anyway, you’re doing great, and we (your bloghounds) are all so proud of you!
