I lost a hamster many years ago. He was named Houdini, and aptly so because I think he had three escapes before we finally Houdini-proofed the cage. But once he had gotten under the fridge and came out light brown instead of his normal gold and white. Another time, my mom knew he was downstairs because she could hear him moving, but he wouldn't come out. So she just left food and water in the middle of an open space and waited for 15 minutes or so until he got thirsty enough to venture out. Teehee… I lost a hamster many years ago. I was only supposed to be the intern and now I'm the boss. So this week has been long. And retail therapy is indeed fantastic, but I must pay tuition...
