Well, when you have a community of people who can all speak out equally, you do get some stupid comments, it’s bound to happen!
I must admit I came for the kinky sex, and stayed for the slavery (err, and the kinky sex!)
But obviously the wise and understanding person who wrote that hasn’t met enough of the wide and varied selection of folks who make up “the scene.”
On the otherhand, I also hate the people who put down people who really value kinky sex, saying the the “Real BDSM” players do it for “spiritual” (or just otherwise not base, sexual) reasons. The people who want kinky sex are just as valid as everyone else!
And, people’s desires are not static. Someone may just want kinky sexy for a few years, but then suddenly deeply need to be a service-oriented sub, with not much interest in sex! Or vice versa!
Whaaaaaat? Lame.
