goddamn it, Kaya, I’m bawling my head off at the last one, I can’t even see right now.
It makes it clear what is really important in life and what is petty bullshit. My heart is just breaking for that family, I cannot imagine the pain and how brave they all were.
There is very little christmas cheer this year. The first video is how a lot of people feel about flying and the ‘security theater’. The airlines aren’t really doing anything to make anything more safe. But in the absence of actually doing anything, it ‘looks’ like they are doing something.
The second video I got a smile out of.
The third, I couldn’t even watch. I’m bummed enough. I don’t need to see that and start crying.
The last video, the memorial for Dax Locke, has me crying every time I see it. Dax was a local boy from my area that seemed to touch many across the nation, and even seeing the Christmas lights this year made me cry.

Wah. I am crying and all stuffed up with it now. Yes it makes me sad but oh wasn’t it sweet that they did that for him and for his parents? It’s lovely actually.
